Dough Scraper

This utensil, used for scraping every single bit of dough from bowls and thus avoiding any waste, was nicknamed ‘Salazar’, after the late dictator who ruled Portugal for 40 years, famous for his stinginess and belief in the virtues of frugality. The wooden handle is turned from Portuguese pinewood.
