Editor Pencils

Preceding the digital era, this pencils were used by editors to correct newspapers before going to print. The red does not show in xerography and was used for correcting. The blue side was used to give instructions to the printer and does not show on lithography. Also know in some countries as accountant pencils. For a brief period, they were known as censure pencils during the Portuguese fascist regime. The name remains, although these days, mainly writers, artists and teachers use these pencils.

Reedited by Viarco, the oldest and last pencil makers in Portugal.
